										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Faith Agency has a long and successful history of working within the transport and trucking industry. When international trucking brand, CAT Trucks, looked to launch into the Australian market, Faith developed a comprehensive brand strategy and communications program that would aggressively build market share.</p>
<p>With a focus on innovation, CAT had invested heavily in new trucking models, enhanced aerodynamics, new fuel-efficient technologies, environmental management, driver comfort and ergonomics. These model and product initiatives needed to be communicated to a wide and varied audience, from government officials though to transport industry executives, truck drivers and owner operators.</p>
<p>Digital display advertising, engaging video content, eDM’s and social media across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, were key platforms to target these audiences.</p>
<p>The launch campaign involved an extensive three day shoot that Faith planned, directed and managed. The primary objective of the shoot was to demonstrate the versatility, durability and comfort of the new model, which saw the new truck filmed across a variety of undulating landscapes from Adelaide to Central Australia. The Faith team utilised a range of action orientated camera techniques and equipment to ensure production values were delivered on screen.</p>
<p>Once footage was captured, all post production including the musical score development was done in-house at Faith to create a truly impressive launch video.</p>
<p>To support the launch, key vehicle benefits and developments were presented via “walk through” videos using a qualified presenter who took the viewer on a focused and informative tour of the new model. The Faith team once again, planned, directed and managed through to final edited outcomes.</p>
<p>Once the videos had been completed and disseminated through digital and social media platforms, the engagement metrics were outstanding with industry benchmarks consistently beaten.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="font-weight: 400;">We’re firm believers in eDMs and the ability for a brand to connect with consumers in channels that not only make sense to them, but that they opt into as well. The challenge for brands is to tailor the communications in such a way that doesn’t frustrate the user, but instead provides value and insight and a deeper sense of connection with the brand. They can also be a really great way to connect with potential customers and help them to make that initial connection with us as well.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Adriatic Furniture has relied on eDM activity for years as a tangible way to communicate their latest offers to their audience but have struggled to use it to nurture their database’s growth and engagement with the brand through the use of eDM automation: using pre-designed templates to send out to new and existing customers automatically based on behaviours displayed on site.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">We identified that the automation flows that the brand had been using were a little out of date in terms of structure and visually no longer aligned with the way that they were presenting itself. As such, we set out to redesign the templates and refine the automation flows to better provide connection and impact.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The two main flows that they had set were a Welcome Flow and an Abandon Cart flow. Looking at the Welcome Flow first, aside from the obvious visual updates to the design of the eDMs, the previous version of the flow had been set up with an extended 5-step flow encouraging and enticing users to engage with the brand through a series of different messages. From a simple initial communication welcoming them, through to encouraging social media engagement, a look at the most popular products and more, it was a convoluted flow that ultimately slowed down users and was overbearing with far too many touchpoints too soon.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The new flow we developed simplified the communications to a simple 3-step process welcoming users with a 5% discount code, a simplified outline of our social accounts and a look at our most popular products, not based on sales but rather page views (understanding that while the business predominantly sells lounges, these aren’t typical online purchases due to the price point and stigma around not knowing the product more specifically).</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Abandon Cart flow was a similar set up, with revised graphics much more closely aligning with the new aesthetics of the brand (including 50 years celebration logo, recent lifestyle imagery and more nods to our Italian heritage), but the revision to the flow was more significant. The previous flow was set up to contact consumers too quickly, resulting in users often receiving multiple flows which is a big no-no, and far too many touch points, coming across as pushy and desperate. Instead, with simplified it to a two-step process reminding users that their product was still there, and that if they hadn’t made a purchase previously, we would offer them the same discount code. Otherwise, they would simply be reminded that the product was still available, and we’d move on.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The results of both these flows have been quite impressive, with the Welcome Flow generating a substantial amount of interest and purchase just based on the presentation of information (not to mention a healthy amount of social media growth as a result also). Abandon Cart appears to be working as expected, though there are still learnings to be made and adjustments available to us. We are also looking to include SMS communication as a part of the flows moving forwards, to give us greater connection with our audience, assuming they have provided their consent to receive messages via this channel.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="font-weight: 400;">Beginning in July 2023, we commenced work with famed Australian dessert manufacturer, <a href="https://www.exquisine.com.au" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Exquisine</a>. Well, we say famed, but really, they may seem like a total mystery to most FMCG customers. That’s because they aren’t B2C; they are a B2B dessert manufacturer, and their gorgeous creations are white labelled for sale by some of the country’s largest retailers, from supermarket home brands, fast-food restaurants and even just your local corner shop café.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The initial brief from Exquisine was to help kickstart their content marketing strategy. While the brand doesn’t maintain an Instagram or Facebook profile, they aim to be quite active across LinkedIn (logical for a B2B business with such a narrow appeal).  Previously, they had worked with other agencies to help develop this content. However, the outputs were sporadic at best, and Exquisine felt that it could be done better, with greater consistency and measurement.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Faith Agency immediately set out to implement a plan of attack wherein we would propose 6-months’ worth of content in one go (basically, 12 ideas for articles), get approval for that, and then develop all 12 articles over the course of a month, before sending them all through for final review and approval, alongside LinkedIn post copy and imagery to be used. Once approved, we would then work through scheduling the articles and posts across Exquisine’s website and LinkedIn platform, while also keeping a close eye on any incoming communications from interested parties that could be forwarded onto the client for further investigation.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The content is developed using a combined approach of copywriting nous and AI-generated ideation that helps to flesh out concepts and give our team greater efficiencies in developing this much content in such a short time. At around 500 words a pop by 12 articles in the span of 1 month, you can understand the need for such efficiencies!</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">This process has proven to be quite effective, minimising the amount of time that the client needs to spend reviewing work while still allowing us to meet the content requirements that they have set. There is still an opportunity for us to communicate on a regular basis as well, with monthly eDMs being developed in-house by our team of designers aimed at communicating with their database about the latest news and updates from Exquisine.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Our engagement with Exquisine has since expanded to cover more content and more social media posting, as well as increasing maintenance projects on their website, including updating sign up forms and smaller website design adjustments. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="font-weight: 400;">Developing campaign material for clients such as Adriatic is an ongoing process. With a promotional calendar stretching well out into the future, there needs to be a disciplined, ordered approach to the development of concepts, execution and, of course, delivery. In April 2024, Adriatic Furniture ran a Motion Recliner Sale, aiming to highlight the latest recliner lounge sets that the brand had in stock. This type of lounge is increasingly more affordable for consumers (and increasingly expected), with innovations in the technology included making them far more advanced than what many people might remember from recliners even 10 years ago. As such, it has been an area of focus for the brand over the past few months.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The first step in rolling out any campaign is the development of a promotion lock-up: something that is identifiable as Adriatic, but distinct enough to stand on its own. When you run multiple promotions over a period, there is always a concern that consumers may start to tune out the creative.  We work diligently to keep on file previous executions to avoid too similar an execution and often plan out months in advance to ensure there are no stark variations between promotions.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Next, the roll out of assets requires the identification of key products to be promoted. We typically work with the brand to identify products that would appeal to our target audience while also being mindful of stock levels and pricing. These products are then mapped out across the assets that are developed, with each placement having different specifications and requirements. From simple executions like billboards (which are heavily reliant on the lock-up) to more complex options (such as social media reels or BVOD TVCs), we are constantly monitoring what works and what could be improved to ensure maximum impact within our campaign.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">For these campaigns, we use an integrated approach to reach consumers at all touchpoints of their journey. For example, our eDM strategy has evolved greatly over the 12 months of working with the client, constantly refining our creative and scheduling based on performance to identify an approach that makes the most sense. A challenge of any retailer in 2024 is the balance between eCommerce and instore sales. Email marketing can drive eCommerce sales dramatically but also encourages instore activity. As a result, we’ve trialled referral codes and other sales activations that allow us to better track performance from this channel.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">And of course, the post-campaign reporting is so vital. Maintaining a contextual awareness around why a promotion worked (or didn’t work, as the case maybe) is critical, but also just pulling apart the raw figures and identifying opportunities for future improvement is so vital. We’re proud of the results we’ve achieved for the brand thus far and are keen to see how things will continue to improve into the future, particularly with EOFY, Black Friday and Boxing Day promotions coming up in the second half of the year.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Faith&#8217;s appointment came with a wide-ranging brief to establish a focused brand communication platform across operating markets embracing traditional as well as digital mediums.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The first step in this new brand journey has been the targeting of the Wind Turbine industry which will see the implementation of an integrated strategy covering print, web, eDMs and digital advertising, integrating key messages with dynamic visual presentation.</p>

<p>Even if you live a very clean digital life, the better question might be how many emails have you deleted today? Email marketing is a huge part of the overall communications mix in 2024, and rightfully so: if done right, users are voluntarily subscribing to your mailing list with a view to receiving your marketing communications. No forcing the message on them via traditional advertising: they are choosing this! That’s pretty cool.</p>
<p>But the trick is to keep them connected and engaged with your brand. The last thing you want is for your email communication to be sitting in your customers’ inboxes with the dreaded red dot of ‘unread’.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Now more than ever, mental health is one of the most important causes in our society. Far too many people have suffered in silence without support or encouragement to share how they are going. <a href="https://www.ruok.org.au/">R U OK?</a> aims to change this and has been doing so since 2009. Working with experts in suicide prevention and mental illness along with state and federal governments, academics and community groups, R U OK? seeks to open up conversations about how each of us is feeling.</p>
<p>Since 2017, <a href="https://www.maxitrans.com/">MaxiTRANS</a> has been closely linked to R U OK? Day (the second Thursday of September), committing to donating 1% of all sales made on the day to this incredible cause. They have engaged with their staff both in head office, dealerships and service centres across Australia to ensure that everyone has their voice heard and are asked, “are you okay?”.</p>
<p>Faith has been working with MaxiTRANS since late 2018 and has assisted in communicating their connection with R U OK? ever since. Mental health means a lot to Faith and we’re proud to help out.</p>
<p>In 2020, MaxiTRANS once again had pledged to <a href="https://www.maxitrans.com/ruok">donate 1% of all sales</a> made on R U OK? Day, and asked Faith to develop a series of pieces aimed at conveying the importance of the day and letting customers know the good that they would be doing if making a purchase with the brand.</p>
<p>The primary point of communication for MaxiTRANS and its numerous dealerships and service centres across the country is a simple A4 flyer. To be prominently displayed in these facilities throughout the latter days of August and through September up to September 10<sup>th</sup> (R U OK? Day in 2020), the flyer had to cleanly and effectively communicate the offer as well as the backstory of R U OK? and of MaxiTRANS’ involvement. Our <a href="https://www.thefaithagency.com.au/service/creative-development/">creative and design</a> team was more than capable of developing an appropriate design fully compliant with MaxiTRANS brand guidelines.</p>
<p>A huge part of the MaxiTRANS business is <a href="https://www.thefaithagency.com.au/service/social-media-content/">social media management</a>. With six primary brands having varying target audiences, as well as the parent organisation requiring a voice, Faith has managed these pages from the very beginning. It was of course critical that we leveraged these almost 25,000 users to engage with them about such an important cause.</p>
<p>A series of organic posts were developed to communicate the incentive, but paid activity was also coordinated to run simultaneously, both to spread the message beyond the organic audience but also to encourage those new users to follow the brands that were relevant to them.</p>
<p>Finally, a series of <a href="https://www.thefaithagency.com.au/service/">digital display</a> GIFs were developed for MaxiTRANS’ own Google Display campaign as well as for external sources including Truck Sales, a critical cog in the new and used trailer market for MaxiTRANS. These GIFs sought to convey the basics of the campaign (R U OK? Day, the promotion, and where to find out more information) in a series of GIFs presented in multiple sizes, cleanly and clearly, with eye-catching design.</p>
<p>While the final results of the campaign are yet to be determined, we can be proud of MaxiTRANS’ and Faith’s involvement in such a critical cause. This campaign was a huge testament to the relationship that exists between client and agency, with quick turnarounds and exceptional results. We look forward to continuing our partnership with MaxiTRANS into 2021 and for the next R U OK? Day as well.
